Nathalie’s mask designs

Design 1

Design 1:

Design 1 has the truffula trees from the lorax story. Blue hair coming from the characters thing 1 and thing 2. The star and yellow belly colour from the sneetches story. The mulberry street sign comes from and to think I saw it on Mulberry street. Lastly, the lips are made to look like a turtles shell taking inspiration from the story yertle the turtle.

Design 2

Design 2:

The hat comes from the book the cat in the hat. The ears represent the character Horton the Elephant. Again, the star and yellow belly colour from the sneetches story. The fish and fish bowl are inspired by the story the One fish, two fish, green fish, blue fish. Lastly, the circus tent comes from if I ran a circus.

Design 3

Design 3:

The circus tents come from the book If I ran the circus. The eyebrows are inspired by the hair on the characters thing 1 and thing 2 and the baloons come from thing 1 and thing 2 as well. The moustache comes from the Lorax character. The nose and mouth are to represent the cat from the cat in the hat.

    This is Margot.
    I really like your designs and the mixed ideas. I can clearly see form all of your designs that they reflect form that one artist, Dr.Seuss. Very unique and interesting choice of combination but ending up very nice and not disturbing to look at. My favourite is your last design because I love the circus and the ideas behind this design. The eyebrow make this mask very special to my point of view because it looks like the mask as his own personality and feelings, not like the 2 other designs. Very nice design that helped us make our final even better!
